Author and Yoga teacher
Camilla is an award-winning author and creative writing teacher. She teaches memoir and creative nonfiction at Faber Academy in London and the National Centre of Writing in Norwich.
She holds an MA (Distinction) in Creative & Life Writing from Goldsmiths. Her work has been published in The Guardian and The Observer. In 2020, she was longlisted for the Fish Prize and shortlisted for Penguin Random House WriteNow. She is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham and holds a PGCE (post-16) from the UCL Institute of Education. Camilla is represented by Emma Schercliff at Laxfield Literary.
When she is not writing, Camilla teaches yoga. She has practised yoga and mindfulness for over 25 years and is the co-director of the Norfolk Yoga Centre.
Camilla lives in rural Norfolk with her husband Mike and rescue dog, Mr Baxter.
