Author and Yoga teacher

I have an MA (Distinction) in Creative and Life Writing from Goldsmiths. I write fiction and nonfiction, and my work has been published in The Guardian and The Observer. In 2020, I was longlisted for the Fish Prize and shortlisted for Penguin Random House WriteNow. I am an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham in the Institute for Name Studies.

When I am not writing, I practice and teach yoga. I have practised yoga for over 25 years and I am the co-director of the Norfolk Yoga Centre. Yoga complements my life and writing practice.
